Step-by-step 10BD & 10BE Filing Workflow for Temples

Filing the Statement of Donations (Form 10BD) and issuing Certificates of Donation (Form 10BE) is now mandatory for all 80G registered trusts. Failing to do so by the May 31st deadline can result in heavy penalties. Here is a simplified workflow using 3ioSetu.

Step 1: Data Collection at Source

The most critical step happens when the donation is made. Your software must mandate the collection of the donor's ID proof (PAN or Aadhaar). 3ioSetu's donation forms (both online and kiosk) make the PAN field mandatory for donations above a certain threshold, ensuring data hygiene from the start.

Step 4: Upload to IT Portal

Log in to the Income Tax e-filing portal, upload the CSV generated by 3ioSetu, and submit. Once processed, the portal generates a generic file containing the Certificate Numbers.

Step 5: Automated 10BE Distribution

Upload the response file back into 3ioSetu. The system automatically creates personalized Form 10BE PDFs for each donor and emails them instantly. This saves you the cost and effort of printing and posting thousands of certificates.
